The Mamasani people are a subgroup of the Luri people of Iran. They have been nomads for hundreds of years. Most of the Mamasani live in western Iran. They are mainly nomads who migrate to find enough water and food for their livestock. Others work as rug weavers.
The Mamasani are entirely Muslim. There is no one to tell them that their eternal destiny is determined by their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray for Farsi speaking Christ followers to take the eternal gospel to the Mamasani. Pray for the development of gospel-related stories and skits in their language. Pray for disciples to focus on the Mamasani and for prayer warriors to intercede on their behalf. Pray for Mamasani elders to have dreams of the risen Christ.
